From 7 October 2011, all Verdo Renewables products are Forestry Stewardship Council (FSC®) certified, due to the company being awarded the Chain of Custody Certificate (SGS- COC-009054). This means that all the wood used by Verdo Renewables can be traced from FSC® well managed forests.

FSC® certification means that consumers can buy Verdo products confident that they are produced from well-managed forests. This means customers can be assured that their purchases are not contributing towards global deforestation.

Verdo Renewables produce premium quality ENPlus accredited wood pellets, wood briquettes and horse bedding. All Verdo Renewables products are manufactured from locally sourced virgin timber.

Verdo wood pellets are used in domestic and commercial wood pellet boilers and stoves. Verdo wood briquettes offer easy and convenient combustion and are suitable for burning in multi-fuel stoves, log burners and open fireplaces. Low moisture content and high compression provide a very high energy output, while extremely low ash residues make them an exceptionally clean product to use.
